"If you COPE, there is HOPE". This was the 2015 theme for the PSPME 10th Diabetes Camp to emphasize the importance of diabetes education and support groups in coping with the lifetime condition. The two-and-a-half days event was participated by nearly a hundred delegates comprising 57 adolescent diabetic campers, pediatric endocrinologists of PSPME, diabetes educators/nurses, a dietitian, a psychologist, and partners in the pharmaceutical industry dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with diabetes.
Held last April 12-14 at Villa Evanzueda, San Pablo, Laguna, the camp was led by Dr. Josephine Leiya Marie Masanga and Dr. Lallaine Audrey Untalan as camp masters.
